2024 Special Interest State Fair Delegate Selection
Please keep in mind:
- It is at the Judge's discretion to delegate youth or not. If they do not feel they or their project is fully ready for the State Fair experience, they may choose not to send anyone in that category.
- A delegation to the State Fair does not automatically mean a county award. The State Fair accepts far more projects than we have awards. However, if the delegation is accepted, the youth will receive a plaque for representing Van Wert at the State Fair.
- Delegates need to call the Extension office to either accept or decline their nomination no later than Thursday July 18th at 4:30pm . If declined or no response, office staff will call the alternate (if applicable).
- Each Representative to the State Fair will have a packet of important information and tickets to pick up in the Van Wert Extension Office. This packet MUST be picked up BEFORE the day of State Fair Judging. Office hours are 8am-4:30pm Monday- Friday (closed Fri.19th)
- If your name is Highlighted in yellow, you must choose one of the two projects to represent at the State Fair.
