Quality Assurance is a state required training program for any 4-H or FFA member who is exhibiting livestock at the junior fair including rabbits.

  1. Rabbit QA (Open to All Participants) will be held on Saturday, April 6th, at 9:00am at the Jr. Fair Building (note that 9:00am is the correct time, not 8:00am).
  2. The Ohio State University Extension is hosting the final QA in 2019 at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds on Monday, April 22 starting at 7:00pm until approximately 9:00pm (at the latest). Youth will most likely not need to be present for the entire two hours, but should plan to be in the case of a large crowd.

For members eligible for test out, it will be offered starting at 6:00pm in the Jr. Fair Building. Test out is offered to youth 12-14 or 15-18 as of January 1, 2019. Youth who need special accommodations for testing or the sessions should contact the Extension Office for details.

In case of inclement weather please check the OSU Extension webpage at http://vanwert.osu.edu or the Van Wert 4-H Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/vanwert4h
